My name is Maria Georgiou and I started my freelance editing business in 2024 in Cyprus.
I offer developmental editing services for romance authors.

        Education

     Past experience
  • I have a Certificate of Completion in Developmental Editing of Fiction Program by ClubEdFreelancers.
  • I have an BA in English Language and Literature specializing in the Anglophone Literature and Cultural Studies track from the University of Cyprus.
  • ​I worked as an English Language teacher for students of all ages at a local private institute between September 2018 and December 2022.
  • I worked as an English Language teacher at UCLan Cyprus in November and December 2023.

  • I love reading romance books. (I wouldn't be a romance editor if I didn't like reading books). I especially love reading contemporary romance, romantic suspense and paranormal stories.
  • I love watching series and movies. I especially love watching romantic comedies and murder mystery series.
  •  I love listening to pop music.
  • I enjoy walking early in the morning.
